Hello, I'm Melissa. I am currently in my 3rd year of studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Pretoria. I matriculated in 2018 with distinctions in Mathematics, Biology (Life Science), Physical Science, Afrikaans, English, Life orientation & Geography. I am an enthusiastic, friendly and hard working individual. I have always been very time efficient as I live a balanced lifestyle between my studying and sporting activities. I am easy to talk to and love to help others where I can. My past experience includes mentoring and helping my fellow academia's in subjects that they struggle to grasp. Matriculated with distinction - Another favourite at school. I grasped it very easily & would often help explain to friends when they did not understand. I also took advanced program maths as an extra subject, which I believe helped me even more with understanding core math.

Passed with distinction - The earth has always been fascinating to me. There were many concepts covered in this subject that I am capable of explaining to other students who also take this subject. I did well in mapwork as well as the theory aspect of this subject. I also completed my ORT for matric in this subject.

Passed with distinction - Languages may be challenging, but once you understand the rules and contexts, it is easier than you think. I enjoyed Afrikaans throughout school and am capable of helping you to understand/ grasp this subject better. I did well in both the reading & writing side of this subject.

Matriculated with distinction - This was my favourite subject and is what made me deicide to study in the Health Sciences field in university. I find it fascinating, easy to grasp and easy to explain this subject. I was also very good at writing bio essays (factual or not) that were expected of us in High School as well as completing practical's.

Passed with Distinction - Although many may see this subject as challenging, with the correct explanations and help, it is not as hard as it seems. I used to find it challenging, but with the correct understanding & explanations I learnt over the years, I hope I can help make it more clear to you to.

Matriculated with distinction - English writing was my favourite in English. I found it easy to write creatively, keep my writing flowing and add in the necessary quotes/ citations. I also did public speaking which made it easier to structure the way I wrote.
