I studied Spanish until grade 12, and obtained a 7(the highest score) for Spanish in the IB diploma. I lived in Mexico during my gap year and worked as a written translator in Mexico City. I have extensive experience both writing and speaking Spanish and am passionate about learning foreign languages.

I was the top student for first year university Spanish at Wits University. I love teaching grammar and pronunciation through various methods (games, tables, etc.) and I am comfortable with day to day vocabulary that students need to know.

I am a native Spanish speaker, wanting to teach, I think I can be a good candidate for it because I believe in the power of people in learning. Spanish for beginners ( first 4 learning years) I have a Master`s degree in teaching Spanish and lived in Costa Rica, teaching English at a Secondary and High school. I spent quite some time in Latin America and Spain and went through the learning process myself in school and University. During my studies and by teaching Spanish at schools in Germany, I learned a lot about the teaching methods and material for different learning types.

Completed my Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) at UNISA in 2014. Completed my Honours in School Management through UNISA, as well as a Bachelors of Theology (B.Th) through SATS. Currently completing my Masters at UCT in Education Policy, Leadership & Change. I am concerned about socio-economic injustices and use my passion, i.e., being a patient teacher, to address these issues.
