I obtained my certificate to teach Mandarin from Beijing Language & Culture University, and am passionate about this language and the exciting world it opens up to those who can speak it. I have been fortunate enough to have spent time in China as both a language student and a teacher, and have therefore had ample experience learning this language and communicating with it in daily life. I am aware of the common challenges this language poses to students, and can therefore offer practical advice and exercises to help you to improve your Mandarin Chinese and gain confidence with this language.

As someone who has spent time studying Mandarin in China, I have learned the purest form of the language and have been taught by professors from all parts of China. During my time there, I made it my mission to learn as much as possible and hope to pass on my knowledge to you all. Contrary to belief, Mandarin is not as difficult as some may make it out to be.

I am highly proficient in the Mandarin language, having been born in Mainland China. I am a Management Graduate who has passed language courses, such as English. I am very interested to tutor youngsters in particular as I am teaching my young child Mandarin and love to help young people to learn and achieve. I am patient, dedicated and have good interpersonal skills. I will commence with basic mandarin.

I am Chinese and Mandarin is my first language. I grew up speaking the language and attended a language school after which I went on to achieve in the 90s for the SK level 5 exam. I would tutor this subject very well because of the fact that my Mandarin and English are practically on the same level and I can consider both my first language so I would be very good at explaining everything clearly but also have a deep understanding of the Mandarin language.
