Hi everyone, I`m a native speaker of German and studied to be a secondary education teacher. I have been living in sunny Cape Town for 3 years now. I grew up in Germany and did my Master`s in Secondary Education teaching English and Spanish at Goethe University in Frankfurt. Parallel to my studies, I worked as a substitute teacher for German and foreign languages at primary and secondary schools. After graduating, I taught different levels of German as a Foreign Language to kids between 6 and 17. Currently, I'm working with different international departments, using professional German and English on a daily basis. Furthermore, I will take an advanced training course for DAF (GFL) with the Goethe Institute in order to improve teaching my native language and to have a certified degree in teaching German. Having experienced the language learning process from different perspectives, I`m well aware that there is no approach that works for everyone. Therefore my lessons are tailored to your personal needs and tempo. Apart from being a language enthusiast, I have traveled to almost 40 countries and lived on 3 continents. If you are also interested in other cultures I`m looking forward to exchanging experiences with you. Language learning should be a positive experience, therefore I try to make the lesson as much fun and worthwhile as possible. Please let me know about certain topics or questions before the lesson in order to prepare the most suitable material. Looking forward to learning together! Marisa

I`m a German native speaker and did my Master's in Teaching two Foreign Languages. I have already taught German as a foreign language in schools, as well as English and Spanish. Having experienced the language learning process from different perspectives as a learner and a native speaker makes me the best tutor for this subject.

Spanish for beginners ( first 4 learning years) I have a Master`s degree in teaching Spanish and lived in Costa Rica, teaching English at a Secondary and High school. I spent quite some time in Latin America and Spain and went through the learning process myself in school and University. During my studies and by teaching Spanish at schools in Germany, I learned a lot about the teaching methods and material for different learning types.
