I am the best tutor for this subject as I majored in Philosophy at University. Philosophy was by far my favourite subject throughout my degree and by studying it for 3 years I have gained a solid knowledge of understanding the works of different schools of philosophy as well as many philosophical thinkers. I am able to explain complicated philosophical concepts in a clear and concise manner. I also achieved in the top 10% in my second year of philosophy and maintained good marks for the subject throughout my degree. In my spare time I often read books by philosophical authors which has helped me gain further knowledge on the subject.

I am currently in my fourth year of studying philosophy. I love the subject for its critical thinking and its diverse range of topics. I have experience in courses such as: Logic Philosophy of Mind Ethics History of Philosophy Epistemology and Metaphysics

I am a final year Bachelor of Commerce Economics, Politics and Philosophy student who is motivated and energetic. I enjoy tutoring and have previously been part of the University of Cape Town Residence Tutors Council (RTC). I am a caring and motivating tutor who enjoys seeing students reach their full potential and excel. I have excellent high school results for the subjects that I wish to tutor and believe that I can enhance the learning experience of any student that I work with. 

I graduated with my English and Philosophy Honours degree within 2018, achieving full academic colours. Prior to this, I graduated in Philosophy, English and Psychology, being placed on the Dean's List. I enjoy engaging with theory and I love encouraging conversations around critical thought, specifically within the world of literature. I have been within the teaching sphere since the age of 15, having worked with children and teenagers of all ages throughout the last ten years. Additionally, I held a tutoring position while at varsity in 2016, giving me high-level experience of teaching. Having worked both with individuals and with groups, I feel I have developed skills in holding a creative space; monitoring the learning process so as to develop the correct skills for analysis and writing; and mediating between both myself and my students, and amongst the students themselves. In terms of school-age student tutoring, I am particularly capable in the essay-writing sphere, and am predominantly interested in tutoring English. I would require information on my tutee's subject matter and syllabus, and would design their work around their particular school, work requirements, and skills and weaknesses. In terms of university, and/or other tutoring requirements, I am available for tutoring English and Philosophy, and for the teaching of English to older persons. I have a passion for teaching and aspire to become a lecturer. I hold degrees in BA (PPE) and BCom (Hons.) Economics. I am a qualified TEFL instructor. I am from Pretoria and I am currently living in Cape Town. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans. I believe that learning is done best when it is made fun which is why teachers should aspire to inspire their students whilst teaching.

I am A diligent University of the Western cape triple major student, in Industrial Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy. I am also a musician, visual artist, a duke of all traits. I am a patient, compassionate individual that is always looking to be challenged and helping other individuals is a passion of mine, knowing that I left you in a better state is what drives me to continuously work towards making others grow intellectually along with me.

I have an acute understanding of considering continental philosophy through the decolonised lens. I have passed my Honours degree with distinctions for most of my subjects. My tutoring is based on creative thought experiments and real-life experience. I am passionate about philosophy and are first and foremost dedicated philosophy as means to alters change in the world, and not merely an intellectual exercise. My goal will be to help establish the nature of event, phenomena and knowledge that is about to change in your view in respect of course you take. The point of tutoring is not only to help you succeed in you academic pursuit, with me it is to help discover the depths of insights of philosopher we study.
