I am a 22 year old recent graduate from Stellenbosch University. I majored in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics. At high school I received distinctions for English, History and Drama which is where my strength lies, however I am competent in tutoring Maths, Afrikaans as well as Economics. I am patient and am able to explain concepts clearly and concisely. I am able to tutor specific subjects (English, Afrikaans, Maths, Economics, History, Drama) but will also be able to oversee homework and help with tasks and projects ! Philosophy
I am the best tutor for this subject as I majored in Philosophy at University. Philosophy was by far my favourite subject throughout my degree and by studying it for 3 years I have gained a solid knowledge of understanding the works of different schools of philosophy as well as many philosophical thinkers. I am able to explain complicated philosophical concepts in a clear and concise manner. I also achieved in the top 10% in my second year of philosophy and maintained good marks for the subject throughout my degree. In my spare time I often read books by philosophical authors which has helped me gain further knowledge on the subject.

I am the best tutor for this subject as I am extremely passionate about the English language! I received distinctions for English language in High School as well as at university. I am well read and am able to analyse literature well. I am an extremely competent English speaker as well as writer and will be able to assist students with Essay writing and creative writing and orals. I will also be studying an advanced diploma in Copywriting in 2021 by which my English writing skills will be further enhanced! I have also completed a 120hr TEFL course, meaning that I am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.
