I have a passion for teaching and aspire to become a lecturer. I hold degrees in BA (PPE) and BCom (Hons.) Economics. I am a qualified TEFL instructor. I am from Pretoria and I am currently living in Cape Town. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans. I believe that learning is done best when it is made fun which is why teachers should aspire to inspire their students whilst teaching.

I tutored students privately at their homes or public places such as libraries. These session where usually one on one. Subjects included economics and mathematics.
I had the responsibility of tutoring three first year classes. The size of the classes ranged from 5 students to 40 students per class. The subjects included Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.
The main focus of the degree is on the three majors (Politics, Philosophy and Economics). Other subjects included History and Sociology.
This course is intensive in mathematics, statistics and essay writing. My subjects included: Mathematical Methods for Economics; Introduction to Econometrics; Microeconomics; Macroeconomics; Public Economics; Development Economics; Labour Economics; and Monetary Economics.
