I am exceptional in Mathematics. I was third in my class and top 10 of 213 Matriculants at my High School for Mathematics and participated in the Mathematics Olympiad. I will help you reach a new level of understanding that will allow you to progress well in Mathematics.

I have 7 months experience in teaching Mathematics and I have 2 months experience being solo responsible for a grade 8 Mathematics class (Term 3) I have also passed Mathematics cum laude at university level and believe that using my discussion based approach, learners not only learn for a moment but they learn for a lifetime.

Mathematics was a subject that I quite enjoyed while at high school. I performed very well at the subject and have a comprehensive knowledge of the material taught at high school level. Hence, I shall be able to teach the subject well.

Throughout my High School career, i never got anything less than an A in a final examination for Mathematics. For Ordinary Level Certificate with Cambridge (IGCSE) i got an A and for (CIE) Advanced Level i got an A as well.

I have always enjoyed doing maths, all through high school it was my favourite subject. I'm currently studying a maths based degree, so my maths brain is always on and ready to help my colleagues. I tutored maths to younger grades while I was at school so I do have experience at helping in high school level.

I have always loved mathematics. It is something that has always made sense to me. I achieved a high mark for maths in school and even almost considered continuing with maths into university. I come from a history of mathematics with my father having become a maths teacher at the early age of only 19. I would love the opportunity to make someone else fall in love with maths and see that it is not something to be scared of but something to be enjoyed.

I have a passion for both learning and teaching Mathematics. I believe that with a bit of hard work and the right tutor anyone can learn to both love and master Mathematics. I have three years tutoring experience both privately and for a tutoring company based in Claremont. I have tutored both NSC and IEB and I have a strong understanding of both curricula. My tutoring focuses on helping the learners understand concepts as opposed to wrote learning. This allows students to be more prepared when an exam throws them a curve ball. I am majoring in Mathematics at UCT and achieved a first for Mathematics in my first year as well as an A + for Mathematics in my NSC examinations.

My marks speak for themselves. I achieved A+ for my a levels, 83 (first class) during my first year and 61 during my second year at university level. I am able to grasp concepts easily and quickly and is able to convey information to the point. I used to ask a lot of silly questions but I learnt that there is never a silly question nor answer. I am friendly and is able to make the student comfortable with numbers by explaining them the logic and reasoning behind.

I have a love for all things mathematical and have been known to 'infect' others with the same passion for math. I understand that there is a misunderstanding about the subject and am fully confident that I will manage to get every student to not only fall in love with the subject but excel in it.

I'm studying Maths at UCT, so I've got a good understanding of the subject. I just completed my second year. I achieved 95% for Mathematics in matric and took AP Maths as a subject too. I have been tutoring Maths and Science for two years now.
