I have done both Core Mathematics and AP Maths at school, and have excelled in both high-school and university level Maths. I am passionate about Maths, and have a good understanding of the core concepts. I feel I can not only help students build confidence in the subject, but develop in them a love for Maths as well!

I obtained 7 distinctions in Matric and I have completed both 1st and 2nd year Undergradute Maths Courses at UCT. In teaching, I would hope to instill in them an appreciation for Maths as a universal language.

I love maths and enjoy teaching it, I am doing maths for engineers second year, which mainly focuses on calculus, but we have mastered our algebra and trigonometry skills. My geometry is also very good as we have a separate course that focuses on that a lot. I got an A for maths from gr9 onwards in high school.

I have experience and I love sharing my knowledge. I'm very patient and don't mind explaining until you feel comfortable with the work. I worked at Master Maths for four years and was trained to work with kids and college students.

I achieved 88, 88 and 95 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year mathematics at UCT, with the class medal for 3rd year. I have extensive experience tutoring maths at a first year level. I am a patient, enthusiastic tutor and I am happy to tutor maths at any high school level as well. I can also help with MAM2000W and MAM3000W at UCT, since I have thorough notes and a strong understanding of those courses.

I love working with students and will continue to strive to be a positive influence in their lives. I know how vital education is in the preparation of young people to achieve success in all endeavours set before them. I hope to instill a love of learning and a desire for constant knowledge within each student.

I have been helping students in my school ever since. I was always very good in maths but if I am missing out on anything I go out of my way to research it. Maths for me is no different to a language.

I did core maths as well as AP maths in high school and it was my best subject, getting 99% for core maths for my final and 96% for AP maths for my final. I feel the most important part of maths is understanding the concept and sometimes you just need to look at something I different way and I can help you do that.

Having had a “fear of maths”, I have found various ways in teaching mathematics (games, story telling etc.) to make the subject not only fun but interesting in ways that will ensure learners will understand the work. I have the patients to explain the work in ways that will ensure the learner understands (everyone has different learning skills).
