I have always loved geography as the content that is taught in class can be applied directly to the environment around you, providing an enhanced perspective of the world around you. I have often enjoyed reversing those roles by actively seeking out information about the environment around me, and using it to my benefit in the classroom. This has given me a practical understanding of the subject, which I would love to share with others.

I am more than comfortable covering all aspects of primary school Georgraphy. I believe that this subject require practice and a fair deal of straight learning to do well - but regular revision will allow for this easily.

I did very well at Geography in school and finished Matric with 93% for the NSC Geography exams. I also won the Geography prize at my school every year from 2012 to 2015 for being the best Geography student in my grade. I would feel comfortable helping students with Geography concepts that they are struggling to understand.

I love travelling and I love teaching. I love learning about the landscape of all the different environments I come across in South Africa and abroad. It is a passion for me and a global transferable knowledge.

I teach Georgraphy with the same passion I teach History. I believe these two subjects go hand in hand, since they deal with humanities and social sciences. I teach valuable lessons about our world, the sustainability of it and how to care for it. Therefore, subjects such as global warming, climate change, world maps and eco systems are very valuable.

I did Geography at school from Gr4-9. While studying my Bachelor of Education Degree, I specialised in the subject of Social Science. This qualifies me to teach history and geography from Gr 4-9. Unfortunately, many learners struggle with Geography at school. This is why I try to teach it in a simplified way so that the learners understand the basics before then learning the detail. I also teach it by relating content to the real world as far as possible.

I did extremely well throughout high school for this subject (95+) and therefore am able to provide all the support, tips and tricks needed to ace this subject! I will provide FREE PAST PAPERS and NOTES to my tutees.

I am very passionate about geography. I have studied geography from high school until the tertiary level. My Ph.D. research specializes in environmental and geographical issues. As a result, I have high-quality knowledge of the subject and my approach to teaching it involves active participation, thinking skills, evaluation, dialog, demonstrations, and information and communication technology skills.

Geo was my favourite subject throughout high school and I really excelled in this subject. I really enjoy using practical examples when trying to understand something for myself; and I feel this is a good way for teaching younger children.

I have been teaching for the last 7 years and still currently teaching grades 8 through to 12. I am passionate about my subject and love helping others understand and learn about the environment around them. The school that I teach at has a 100% pass rate. I am well equipped and knowledgeable about the content in Geography from grade 8 to 12.
