I really enjoyed Geography as a subject in school, and I find it to be very enjoyable if you have the right skills! I want to help you see this subject as fun and easy, so let’s work through any issues and tackle this together! :)

I love Geography! I achieved a distinction for Geography in Matric, and am currently studying a degree that relies heavily on the skills I learned in high school Geography. I am a patient person and am willing to take my time in aiding you with your studies, I also have great understanding and passion for this subject and achieved high marks for it throughout High School and can help you achieve the same!

I have just matriculated and I took this subject in Matric. I achieved a high distinction in this subject and have a very good understanding of the high school Geography curriculum. I am patient and passionate about this subject.

I took geography as an 8th subject from grade 10 to grade 12, and taught myself the content - I ended off with a distinction on my nsc at the end of 2016. I completed an earth sciences course at uct that helped solidify my understanding of the material at a tertiary level.

I am studying a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching through UNISA and Geography is one of the subjects I am specialising in. I got top marks for this subject from primary school until university. I have a large knowledge base and broad understanding of the subject due to my huge love for it. I try to help learners by using interesting and relatable teaching approaches.

Another strong passion which I had, was the love of geography. Learning about the intricacies of climates and ecosystems was an eye opener for me in the real world. I could better see how these aspects affected us more than we thought. Again, I have a fair grasp on the subject matter and also have a clear and concise method of teaching the topic to others.

With this subject, I believe can add value to the experience of the learner as I can simultaneously tie the concepts and definitions whilst also applying the concepts which is very important. I believe the best to advance in this subject is to first get a good grasp of how the concepts come about and how they are relevant in our sorroundings. Then apply them them in tests set up rigorously.

This is was my favorite subject high school and favorite subject to tutor! I really believe that anyone can ace this subject as it is about things that we see and experience in our daily lives. My mark obtained in grade 12 for Geography was 74%

Geography to many is viewed as a conceptually challenging subject. I feel that I feel that I would be best suited to tutor this subject as at high school level I achieved an outstanding final and ORT mark. I have a great understanding of map work and geographical theory and want to assist student in achieving an excellent mark that they can be proud of.

Geography is such a fascinating subject, underpinning so many answers to why certain civilizations prospered (or didn't), or how individual species evolved, I love to share my passion for the subject with my students. My time working at Virunga National Park in D.R.Congo has given me real life experience of active and dormant volcanoes. I have also spent time studying as a game ranger which incorporates many aspects of the geography syllabus into real life examples. All experiences that will help me to bring your studies to life.
