Literature is my strong suit. It's what I've spent three years studying at variety and it's what got me my distinction in Matric. I also love critically analysing and it's a skill I think everybody should have. I believe that I am able to teach people how to be critical and independent thinkers.

I am very passionate about the world of English, maybe too passionate sometimes. (I am a terrible grammar nazi, haha) English and the spheres that it encompasses allow individuals to truly express themselves and be able to explain their opinion, perspective, emotions and feelings. I will approach tutoring the English Language in a more modern and current way. We will delve into the various worlds of poems, novels, short stories and other literature, together. We will explore the depths of grammar and vocabulary and come out of it with an intrigue, excitement and passion for the English language.

I have always had a passion for the English language ever since I was young. I loved learning to discover the language through reading and analysing books and novels. English gives you an amazing ability to interpret and decide on an answer to any question for yourself. Yes there are rules for various aspects in English however free thought and creativity is so encouraged which is why I loved learning about it so much.

I have over 15 years experience as a specialist English teacher responsible developing and implementing a curriculum, which covered reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. In addition to this, I have have also taught English as a second language to children and adults in 4 different countries.

I am TEFL-Certified in English instruction, and have spent the last two years teaching English on and off, both online and privately. I matriculated with a distinction in English, I am studying it at university, and am hugely passionate about the language, and this will certainly reflect in the enthusiasm and professionalism with which I tutor.
