I got a distinction for pure maths at the end of matric. I have completed 3 maths courses at uct and achieved a first class pass for 2 of the 3. I believe in solidifying fundamentals and understanding an overview of the topics needed for study before diving into the practical component of learning- method learning is key.

I use different approaches to tackling maths problems as opposed to using one. This gives learners a much broader understanding knowing which method they understand best; that boosts them to enjoy the subject more and hence dedicating more time to it.

The most important part of mastering pure mathematics in primary or high school is to actually love it. I have this way of making people understand and grow to like mathematics. I am very good at explaining and actually making the concepts as simple as possible to understand them.
