I'm studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Pretoria. I'm currently in my 3rd year thus I completed 6 pure mathematic modules that includes: Calculus 158 (WTW 158) Mathematics 164 (WTW 164) Mathematics 238 (WTW 238) Differential equations 256 (WTW 256) Calculus 258 (WTW 258) Numerical methods 263 (WTW 263)

I covered nine different modules during my Maths A-Levels. Four core modules, a Further Pure Maths module, Statistics 1 and 2, Mechanics 1 and Decision making Maths. I got distinctions in every module a part from Statistics 1 and 2. Maths is my best subject, and something I grasp easily.

I studied maths in university till 3rd year, and I have 6 years tutoring the subject. I was the top maths student in my school throughout high school. Everyday I use my maths skills in Data Science to solve very interesting problems in business on a daily bases.

I matriculated with a distinction and went on to pass all my mathematics subjects in university with As. I have passion for this subject and wish to show students how simple and fun it can be if they approach it with the right attitude and know how to effectively study for it.

I have a passion for mathematics and make lessons enjoyable for children. Being a mechanical engineer I have an advanced level of knowledge in algebra. I believe that every child is good at Math, they just need to learn how fun it actually is

I do a job that is influential to young people, who are the future change makers in our society. I spend each day in a role that gives me multiple opportunities to challenge myself, helping me to grow and develop in a myriad of ways.

I obtained an A+ (92%) for high school math. I am studying Actuarial science which is math orientated. I was part of the top matriculants in the country in my matric. I find math easy to understand and even easier explain.

Because of my vast knoweledge in mathematics at University level, I feel like aiding high school maths as the foundational basis for mathematics at University level is fundemental to every student doing pure maths at high school level. I also would like to; through tutoring sessions; remove the negetive norm that "maths is difficult and only for smart people" and expose students to the great potential to which Mathematics and Statistics as a career holds

For 12 years of teaching statistics & mathematics at many levels, from Calculus courses to teaching Business Calculations, Calculations & Statistics and Quantitative techniques and Finance, as a Lecturer, a Teaching Assistant and as Tutor, I have been constantly learning and gaining experience as to what makes an effective and a polished practitioner of the craft.

I was a mathematics tutor for the western cape matrics in 2017. I have a good math average from high school and I am able to do university level mathematics quite comfortably. I think I have the patience and knowledge to help student with math.
