Throughout my High School career, i never got anything less than an A in a final examination for Mathematics. For Ordinary Level Certificate with Cambridge (IGCSE) i got an A and for (CIE) Advanced Level i got an A as well.

It is important that children understand in their own way the basics of mathematics. Not every chid learn the same way in the classroom and I believe maths is a subject that children need to understand in their own way.

I have always enjoyed doing maths, all through high school it was my favourite subject. I'm currently studying a maths based degree, so my maths brain is always on and ready to help my colleagues. I tutored maths to younger grades while I was at school so I do have experience at helping in high school level.

I am a prepared student and know the equations and work to handle before hand. I have a good understanding of high school math and knows what it takes to develop the knowledge of understanding and achieving the marks.

I have successfully completed my BSc degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. It consists of a double major: Hydrology & Geography. Within these two majors, I was moulded into a hard-working and consistent individual who utilizes a multidisciplinary approach and open mind when faced with new challenges. I believe that having mastered Mathematics in my BSc degree puts me in a position - confident to educate others.

I love Math. It enriches me when I get to explain a topic to a student and I can see that she/he snapped it. That "the light went on" moments make me happy. I agree that I do not know everything, but I give my all into a topic and will do my utmost best to give insight and help.

I have been a Mathematics tutor since 2015. I have achieved a mark of 81% for Pure Mathematics when I completed my AS-Levels. I also achieved a mark of 93% and 83% for WTW 158 and WTW 164 respectively. These are two first-year Calculus modules.
