I attended Maritzburg College in Pietermaritzburg, followed by University of Natal (as it was then) where I completed a B Comm majoring in Economics, Business Administration and Business Finance. I have a love of reading, both classical, somewhat obscure and modern South African writing. I reside in Johannesburg, with my wife and two daughters. Until recently I was in the technical production industry, running the operations and project management side of things to do with the setting up and delivery of major events. This industry has ground to a halt due to the COVID 19 issues, so it's time to do something else!

I completed Matric last year with an A average and aim to study International Business overseas, to make a positive difference in the economy one day. My hobbies include Dancing and Public Speaking, as I enjoy interacting and meeting new people with new experiences. I was a prefect in High School which has enabled me to acquire leadership skills and be a good mentor to others, in a committed and fun way. Due to the fact that I have experienced 12 years of school myself, and graduated not so long ago, I understand that the work of each grade increases in difficulty, and excelling and improving in academics from early stages is crucial for you to do well right up until Matric. This is possibly one of the most important years of your life, and I am here to help you make it one of the most successful and best. I will aid in many factors from study skills to learning techniques, all to ensure that you reach your full potential, in each year of your school career.

I'm a natural science major studying for a BSc at Minerva Schools at KGI, a US-based university. I'm currently home for the winter and will be resuming my studies at the end of September. I have a passion for science, especially zoology. I also love acting and often participate in community-run theatrical performances. I write poetry in my free time and love crocheting and loom knitting.

I am a biochemist , with 10 years experience of teaching phyiscal science ,life science and Mathematics from grade 8 -12 . I have extensive knowledge in CAPS,IEB and Cambridge curriculums. I am passionate about teaching .Helped many student become confident achieve better grades.

I am a very patient tutor and am able to explain maths concepts at whatever level required. I like to break things down so that you'll really grasp the basics and get a full understanding of what you are studying. I have extensive experience tutoring maths while studying for a degree in mathematics (mostly one-on-one but also in a study centre) along with around 16 years within the finance/consulting space mostly within Market Risk. I have taken a sabbatical and was wanting to get back to my first love of mathematics!

I am an enthusiastic tutor with a love for English! I studied English Literature at Rhodes University and received As for English in High School. I believe that learning should be fun and as a result, my teaching style is simple, hands-on and creative. We all have different kinds of intelligence. We just need to learn where out strengths lie. I've tutored for 6 years during and after university. I did my honours in Mathematics and have continued my studies by completing CFA level 2. I have been in corporate for the last 3+ years and am currently spending some time deciding which path I want to take in the future. I have a passion for conservation and animals and am looking at moving into this industry. I have also missed teaching and the sense of fulfillment in helping students grow and learn. Given my focus in Maths, which is subject many students struggle more with, it is great to know that I am able to assist and teach this. Given the extra time I have now, I have decided to continue tutoring again.
