I am a (soon to be) postgraduate student from WITS, furthering my studies into Management Accounting through CIMA. I have a great passion for accounting and business related subjects, and I am also very fond of mathematics. I am quite familiar with the professional certifications and the steps that need to be followed in the finance sector, and am more than happy to answer any questions that students or parents may have with regards to those. In my spare time, I find myself playing guitar, gaming, or playing chess if I'm not spending time with my family. I'm a very easy going and relaxed person, and I pride myself on my punctuality and preparedness for anything that I do. I believe that every day, a person must try to improve themselves or their lives in some way, no matter how big or small. My specialties for tutoring are anything to do with accounting, economics, business studies, or mathematics. I have 4+ years of private tutoring experience, and if I could have a dollar for the amount of times I've seen students go from "I can't do this" to "Oh yes, this is the easy stuff", then I'd be retired by now.

I am passionate about helping people learn new things. I tutored maths for several years both individually and in groups and enjoy working with others. I was a software developer until recently when I decided to return to tutoring. I enjoy reading, learning about history, drumming singing, programming, and horse riding. I am always keen to learn new things about the world. I believe that with the right approach to teaching, anyone can be taught anything they want to learn. My experience tutoring maths has taught me that often people assume that maths is hard because they're having a hard time following what they're being taught in class. I've found that their confidence in their ability to solve maths problems and grasp the fundamentals of maths increases as they learn and master new concepts. In high school, I myself struggled with maths and thought that I would never master it . With the help of dedicated and capable tutors, I was able to overcome these challenges and get better in a short time. I hope that I can help my students the way that my tutors helped me when I was struggling.

Hi. I am an experienced mathematics specialist offering mathematics and statistics lessons in Johannesburg. I believe that with the right teaching technique, anybody can excel in mathematics. With an effective correlation between the right teaching method and the right learning method, anybody can be successful when studying mathematics. I am a hard working 23 year old psychology graduate. I have just completed my board exam, to qualify as a Registered Counselor with the HPCSA. I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Pretoria and my postgraduate degree at SACAP. I am passionate about people and assisting them to reach their full potential. I enjoy sport and hanging out with friends. I am social person who loves to find out more about others and their interests. I love animals and food, and if I wasn't going into the field of psychology I would have loved to become a chef.
