I am a 29 year old teacher who resides in Randburg and I have a B Social Science Honours degree and a PGCE (Foundation Phase). I am currently a Grade 2 teacher and absolutely love what I do. I enjoy working with children and creating enjoyable lessons.

I am a mechanical engineer by profession working in the construction industry, with more than 10 years industrial experience. I hold a B.Eng(Hons), Pgdip in Mechanical Eng (Wits) and am currently doing my MSc in QS (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) with Salford University. I am currently employed as a general manager at Peak Consulting Engineers and I mentor junior engineers and have a passion in teaching, lecturing and mentorship.

I am a recent Psychology and Criminology graduate from Victoria University of Wellington and will begin my masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry in September. I am an organised and reliable individual that aims to help students understand content on a deeper level as well as encouraging them to think critically and analytically. I have a strong passion for helping others achieve their goals and dreams and to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I will not only help students achieve their academic goals but also make learning fun by providing them with different learning tools and techniques.

My name is Pieter. I have studied Engineering. Engineers use mathematics as a set of tools. Each mathematical module from the most simple to the most complex is a tool to perform a certain function. You don't need all the tools at first. But as you learn different modules and become familiar with more mathematical rules and principles the tools you will have at your disposal will increase. Mathematics is always growing. As we encounter problems we cannot solve with our current tools we learn more about the tools out there and when we can identify what tool we need we can study that tool. In 1665 Isaac Newton did not have the tools he needed to solve his problem. He could not explain certain problems like the rate of change in velocity of a falling object. Isaac Newton built a mathematical tool by himself. Today that tool is called calculus. Calculus helped to make the modern world possible. All engineers learn this useful tool and can solve all the problems that Isaac Newton struggled with and more. My wish is for my students to learn what tools are out there. To learn how to use tools and maybe if we are really, really lucky discover some tools that everyone can use to solve their problems.

In my years at Damelin College I have learned what it means to really find a passion and understand the importance of having a person who can guide you towards the right path. I am a Bcom Accounting graduate , currently working towards advancing my studies through UNISA (Adv diploma in Accounting), I have been tutoring for 2 months and I believe that everyone needs help even the smartest and the brightest. I personally don't believe in overdoing something until your brain hurts ,you don't grasp that much hence I rather focus on an important aspect a student is struggling with and spend considerable time on it till the students understands. I am really passionate about helping others do better ,if they win I win as well. I am looking forward to working with y'all and securing those good grades.

I am an ever learning individual who loves imparting knowledge on any subject matter that I am well versed in. People generally make more informed decisions when they know better and I like the role of facilitating that process. I am a Master's student in Strategic Management and I lecture Business Management from years 1-3 at a long distance institution. To advance my teaching skills I have done training on Bloom's Taxonomy and the NQF level descriptors on each level meaning I know the outcomes required for students at different levels. Continuously, I receive training or do courses that will help me to assist students best.

I am very passionate about maths, hence i studied math and stats at university. The tips i can give to those struggling with it is to do exercises at least 3 times. That will enable you to unlock the tricks in it. I am native French those wants to learn French are welcome too.

Born in a French speaking country, I moved to South Africa when I was 13 years for schooling. I have a matric certificate and technical knowledge from the Vaal University of Technology.
