I'm a French tutor. I'm teaching and helping anyone who wants support in French. I'm doing it for almost 6 years now, and to any level beginner or student, child or adult. I'm good with your job and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I am the oldest of two and get on really well with my fifteen-year-old brother. I developed a passion for languages from a young age, going beyond the school curriculum to immerse myself in French and Afrikaans movies and music and speaking it to whomever could understand and listen. I am furthering my French at Alliance Française and studying a BSc Biological Sciences at Wits University. I am equally passionate about my home language, English, and spend a lot of time reading novels and writing poetry. Throughout high school, I took my academics very seriously and enjoyed helping my friends with theirs too. I am a disciplined and organised student who takes pride in the work I put forward. However, my time at school was not only spent in the classroom – I was a loyal member of our school choir and headed the diversity committee at St Teresa’s for 2018/19. This, along with the fact that I have a physical disability, has allowed me to develop a great sense of empathy towards others, and, as a result, I am quick to connect with people. My physical disability means that I am unable to drive and as such I am only able to tutor from my home/ online. When I am not engaged in literature, or the newest instalment of a series, you can find me having fun with friends and family at a music concert, around the pool or at a picnic. I am very people-orientated and love to socialise.

I am a female with a buddly and cool personality, I have completed my bachelors degree in psychology and have a load of patience. I am always keen to help others and help others improve. I understand everyone learns differently and I am able to adapt quickly and efficiently to this.

I have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. Consequently, I consider tutoring to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I was born and raised in Johannesburg, and experienced great success in school due to passionate and attentive teachers. This serves as the foundation for my commitment to helping students work towards their successes. I am currently studying a Masters Degree in Chemistry enriching my knowledge and passion for science and have completed my Undergraduate BSc with majors in Physics and Chemistry as well as BSc Hons Chemistry.

Hi! I am Anita I am a writer, reader and would like to consider myself an anthropologist (feel free to google this if you are unsure what an anthropologist is). For the past few years I have worked in the academic sphere, I have lectured, tutored and worked as a student assistant. I am a keen critical thinker and enjoy learning about almost anything (from political regime failures to orchid care). I enjoy helping students grow and hone their own skills, especially when it comes to writing. There are few things as fulfilling as seeing a student gaining confidence in their abilities and find their own 'voice'. Based on my own education and work experience I will be able to aid you by helping you acquire research materials (academic and otherwise), teach referencing styles, essay formulation, language editing, expanding vocabulary and general comprehension etc. I have a love for languages and I am fluent in English and Afrikaans.

I am an IT Support Technician and have been in the IT field for 5+ years. I have mostly worked on the Help Desk or been outsourced to work for companies on-site. I have always enjoyed teaching others and have excellent communication skills, a detailed understanding of computers, immense patience and I am able to provide solutions to technical quiries in an efficient manner.
