I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Psychology. I work at a Company called 5DT as a Receptionist and HR Assistant. I'm a board member at Imagine Scholar- an after school program focused on Empowering young people through tutoring, academic reading and writing, art, community service and building character.

I am the best tutor because I completed a aced the ”English for academic purposes” course for university level, I took Advanced Programme English in high school and completed in an academic decathlon called The World Scholars Cup where we placed 1st for the regional round. Albeit my merits and accolades, I also genuinely enjoy English and the language in general so I will be pleased to assist.

I have studied BA Languages at The University of Pretoria, which consisted of me studying grammar and literature aspects of English (first additional language), Afrikaans (home language), Spanish and French. I am well equiped with knowledge and I have a year worth of experience of tutoring.

I have 10 years experience teaching English as a First and Home Language. I have 6 years experience as the subject head of languages: moderating assessments and examination papers. I have completed various courses and training to keep up to date with changes in the system. I have been Head of Department of Educational Guidance for 2 years.

I work as an online English teacher for a Japanese company, and this position has given me the experience and skill needed to teach English on this platform as well. In addition, I hold a Cambridge Advanced English certificate at c2 level which is the highest level of English proficiency.
