I am currently studying BMus at the University of Pretoria. I have taken several courses that will prove useful in this position. These courses include first aid peer counselling and tutoring. I work well with children of all ages, am very reliable and organized, and am flexible and can problem solve under pressure. I am also a keen and willing learner. I am a lively and responsible young female au pair/ tutor with a good record of accomplishment providing quality childcare services and school tutoring for families in the Pretoria area. I am a student at the University of Pretoria and I have majored in English. I am extremely passionate about English as I believe that it is a not merely a subject, but an important foundation that inquiring, young minds must have the opportunity to build on in order to express themselves later on in life.

I am a second year Psychology student at the University of Pretoria; I also take English and History as my two other subjects. I would love to be able to help either first year Psychology students (I received a distinction for the year and scored in the 90th percentile for the Biological Psychology section of first year, so I believe I am competent and can be of help), or to help with English, Biology or History students on a high-school level. Biology was my favourite subject in high-school, and I still have all of my Grade 11 and 12 notes. I can also help with first year Criminology and History students at a University level; I did very well in both of these subjects in my first year and still have all of my notes and textbooks (my academic record is attached in my profile under "Documents"). I am also an avid reader and "English nerd", and so can easily spend hours discussing literature and helping with essay writing, something which is vital for Matric and university English studies. I thoroughly enjoy helping others, and have helped my friends to study for exams on many occasions - I truly believe that once you crack a good study method that works for you, the sky is the limit! My other interests include dogs, DIY and crafts, cooking and being a bit of a nerd in general.

Hi! I'm Mari, 21 years old, currently a 2nd year undergradute in Languages and majoring in French and English. I love languages and I love helping people. I am hardworking, trustworthy and caring. I aspire to be a teacher someday and that is why I'm starting now. I want to help and grow together, I want to learn new things and I want to encourage someone to reach new heights.

I am extremely passionate about language, poetry and reading. I have had the opportunity to study English at a university level and it has been amazing. I am good with language comprehension and language usage as well as understanding the dept of literature and poetry analysis.

I am the best tutor because I completed a aced the ”English for academic purposes” course for university level, I took Advanced Programme English in high school and completed in an academic decathlon called The World Scholars Cup where we placed 1st for the regional round. Albeit my merits and accolades, I also genuinely enjoy English and the language in general so I will be pleased to assist.
