Hello I am a friendly and helpful young university student who was involved in everything in high-school from sports to volunteering and academics. I have experience working with children and people of many different socio-cultural backgrounds and different needs since I have worked at centres with children with different needs three2six- a refugee program, Charlotte Maxeke hospital orthopedic ward with Surgeons for little lives NGO and Expressive Arts, and as a Sunday school teacher too. I really love children and observing them grow especially when I am a part of it. I am well rounded so I can help with most subjects, if not all and also co-curricular recreations like art or sports .

Experience
I have been a professional tutor for over a year- In February 2018, I become a registered Ocuupational Therapy assistant for an NGO company (Surgeons For Little Lives). During the time that I have been registered with that company, I have assisted a broad range of students from 4 months, all the way to 17 years old/grade 11. I have been a teaching assistant for over 6 years -In March 2013, I volunteered to become a teaching assistant at Rhema Bible Church for children ranging from 2 years old through 7 years old; as well as a teaching assistant for the Three2six refugee programme for over 4 years for children from grade 1 to grade 6 March 2018-December 2018: Head of Marketing Intern, Carbon Reduction Technologies (Pty) Ltd Volunteer work with children: 2018: Surgeons For Little Lives NGO: Charlotte Maxeke Witwatersand Academic Hospital I volunteered for the Surgeons for little lives NGO that helps rehabilitate children with learning difficulties imposed by impairments caused by injury through Occupational Therapy and Expressive Arts therapy February 2013-Current: Rhema (North) Teacher assistant 2015-Current: Three2six refugee programme Through these experiences I have developed the ability to engage with different types of children and students over an even broader range of impairments, challenges and backgrounds. This experience has made me adept at speaking to and explaining difficult concepts to almost any type of pupil despite their challenges. Throughout my high school career , I had the task of balancing my external work with my school work schedule and I managed to do that effectively. This means that the extra workload of being a tutor would not obstruct or interfere with my studies or vice versa.

I am currently studying BSc Environmental Sciences and BA Psychology in the hopes of becoming a child psychologist one day and with my BSc degree I hope to invest that education to make this Earth a better place for the children.
