Civil and Structural Engineering tutors in Pretoria

I am a student at the University of Pretoria, currently studying civil engineering.

I am a 26 year old man with ambition. I have a degree (B.ENG Civil Engineering) in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria and work as a full time Civil Engineer in the Dams and Hydropower department of AECOM. I graduated in 2014 and started working for AECOM directly after I finished my studies. I am a very motivated teacher and always enjoy helping students develop their Science and Math skils. I have a very good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics due to my Civil Engineering degree and I work with these principles every day. I am a very active person who loves playing all sports but especially Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and Swimming. I recieved provincial colours for Swimming and Hockey at school. I also enjoy playing Golf and scuba diving in my spare time. I am engaged to be married in December 2016 and am therefore very motivated and driven to teach so that I can pay off my study debt before I get married.

I am currently a civil engineering student and mentor, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and support those who need feel hopeless, for I always say to my students that "Nothing is impossible without effort" . I also love music (piano and organ) and play tennis.

I am a hard working and motivated person. I am currently a third year Civil Engineering student at the University of Pretoria. Learning is a big part of who you are and I would love to share my knowledge and help someone achieve their goals.

As a passionate Civil Engineering student with a strong foundation in Math and Physics coupled with the ability to help learners understand concepts through interactive visual aids, I believe I am the best tutor for this subject. I help students understand the basic concepts of Civil & Structural Engineering and which instances they are applied by: - Demonstrating real world structural examples - How Math and Physics is applied in problems - How to analyze problems with high efficiency and accuracy. I provide interactive visual learning experiences coupled with class notes for learners that we go through together. I have used this method on many past students including myself and it has proven to be very helpful.
