I am a 28-year-old, single mother. I love reading, learning new things such as different cultures and I am very adventurous. I am open to new and exciting new things. I am currently tutoring English to students based in Asian countries. The lessons are conducted online which encourages virtual interaction, understanding and well as interpersonal communication skills. Teaching has become very fulfilling to me as I get to listen to my students and assist them to become the best they can be.

I am a medical graduate and a BSc graduate, I am currently in the process of writing board examinations. I am dedicated I have taught at bright sparks tutors in the past and I have taught privately. If a student sets a goal I make sure we achieve higher, remember we all have the same brain its just a matter of learning how to use it.

My name is Xylona Page. I am from South Africa. I graduated in Journalism in 2015. I have taught English online to Asian adults and children (age 5-18) for 1 year and 6 months. I have always been passionate about the English language and I enjoy sharing that passion with those who are keen and interested in learning English. It is a very rewarding feeling to see students grow in confidence through their learning experience as well as seeing them having fun while learning as I believe this is important. The more students enjoy learning, the more excited they will be to learn. My hobbies include camping, reading, dancing, running, hiking, watching movies, listening to music and traveling.

Through my experience of being a student, I have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being a long distance student that is now a graduate , I have been able to understand the importance of punctuality and having good time management skills. I am a patient, have good writing skills which I have refined through the many projects I have done. I believe I can be an awesome tutor as I always tailor make everything I do according to the next persons learning styles.

I am currently a student at Wits university studying Aeronautical engineering. For the past two years I have consitently been in the top 5% of my class and this proves my competency in the work I will teach. Beyond just knowing the work I am passionate about academia and youth development I wanna ensure students learn how to learn and also show them applications of the work their are doing so they can fall in love with it. I intend to study my students so that we can come up with the best ways of ensuring their academic success
