I am a scientist (Hydrogeologist) and I work with math, chemistry science and computer science almost on a daily. My love and passion for those field has driven me to pursue my current career path and further my post- graduate studies. I have always been a passionate individual when it comes to math and science, from a young age. Explaining math, science and computer science in a simplified manner and seeing people grasping content that they would consider as difficult of trick brings joy and a sense of accomplishment.

I work a lot with Microsoft excel, word, outlook and power point. I often assist my colleagues with various excel tasks ranging from calculations, formulas, automating spreadsheets and presenting data; and i do the above when condensing field data into information presented to clients. No task is too small! I gain huge joy when teaching my child in primary school computer science.

As a hydrogeologist, I write a lot of scientific reports throughout the year. I used to dread the writing process for a while (throughout my schooling career) until i wrote my first report in my professional career. Writing brings out creativity and sense of accomplishment after analyzing and processing field data. I am passionate with what I do would be pleasure to teach someone about what I know.

I am a hydrogeologist with more than 3 years’ experience in contaminated land remediation, gas exploration and environmental assessments. Project experience varies from drilling supervision, mine waste, groundwater, surface water and gas monitoring, data analysis and reporting for projects conducted within South Africa, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia. I am a research professional studying towards an MSc focused in Hydrogeology from the University of the Free State.
