I am an Electronic Engineer. My current work deals with the underlying concepts on a daily basis. I completed my degreeat the University of Pretoria. I also have a few years teaching experience (primary school, high school and univeristy level) as well as being an assistant lecturer at the university.

I was in the highest maths class in grade 11 and 12 (second highest in grade 10). I obtained an average of 85% for maths at the end of matric. I did trigonometry for first semester in university too, so my skills extend beyond high school maths. I also got above 70% for my maths NBT in matric.

I was first in my grade for maths in high school, Trig is of the subjects that I have a special passion for and still use on a daily bases in my studies. I love helping people understand and enjoy it too.

My passion and enthusiasm for Mathematics supersede all other possible reasons for choosing to be a tutor of this subject. My patient demeanor and diligence ensure adaptation of my tutoring techniques to the individual needs and tempo of every student. My approach is interactive, and I encourage students to identify their weaknesses for intensive improvement thereof. Trigonometry is a subject in Mathematics that I had mastered exceptionally well in high school and I still apply it today in my University course. As someone who is very passionate about all things Math, Trigonometry is no different. I have been teaching Trigonometry for 3 years and have gotten great feedback from learners pertaining to how well they understood the concept due to my great communication skills. I help learners understand the concept with illustrative diagrams and simple explanations on how trigonometric parameters interact with one another. These diagrams help student visualize how trigonometry relates to geometry and how it is applied in the real world. This makes me a brilliant tutor for this subject and it has been proven to very helpful.

Studying finance means that you're almost always going to be dealing with numbers and figures, let alone the complex mathematics that follows them. Since grade 8, I have always been a fan of mathematics, because it was something I could either understand and grasp right away, or be left in awe and satisfaction when I finally did figure out how something worked. I understand that a lot of people really struggle to grasp certain, if not most of, the complex concepts, and that is why I decided I would use my talent to help other people understand.
