I am a qualified engineer with a strong mathematics and science background. I excelled at high school mathematics and science and University level mathematics and science. I also enjoy simplifying complex concepts to allow for better understanding and application.

I can teach maths and science to a grade 10 level. I enjoy focusing on the adverse skills that students develop from the subject but also to assist in filling in the knowledge gaps that many students lack because of having missed foundational parts of their learning in these subjects which has slowed down their progression.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, as well as a BCom Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management. I have a done the Teaching English as a Foreign Language online course (TEFL) which has sharpened my teaching skills significantly. I enjoy teaching Mathematics. I am also competent in Physics, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics English and Finance.

In high school, I took Physical Science. I have a extensive understanding of Physical Science and I am able to teach Physical Science in a more simple and understanding way as most teachers at school teach it in a complicated way.

As with mathematics, I am a physics major graduate and have worked in an environment that required the practical application of what I learned during my academic course. Since I was young, I have loved science, spending my afternoons watching programmers like "The Atom" in the history channel. I am very passionate about the physical sciences and am passionate about sharing my knowledge and understanding.

I have a good grounding in Science, with a deep understanding of processes and access to various past papers and notes that help learning. I matriculated with 97 percent in Physical Science in 2016. I achieved 92 percent in First Year University Physics, as well as 90 percent in First Year Chemistry. I have tutored Physical Science to High School learners for several years now. I enjoy helping others understand the subject

I have obtained my BSc in Mechanical Engineering, won the WEIR Minerals Award for Best Design Report, and have been exposed to subjects such as Mechatronics, Thermodynamics, Fluids and Gas Dynamics, Statics and Dynamics, Software, Materials and Vibrations. I am familiar with FEA (Mechanical and Fluent), CAD, C++, Python, MatLab and MS Office

I have teaching experience in this subjects and focus on making physical science more brain friendly by experiments. This is a subject that can be very interesting if exposed to the correct way of learning. I have taught this subject for 5 years and love the practical part of the work. This subjects is one of the most realistic subjects and applicable to our every day lives. I'll ensure enough brain friendly resources for this subject to make sense and interesting at the same time.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science degree and have taken Physics and Chemistry at a university level. I achieved high marks for science in high school at an IEB level and have a thorough understanding of the various topics covered in high school namely thermodynamics, organic chemistry, stoichiometry, acids and bases, the periodic table, newtons laws, work energy and power, electrodynamics, electricity and light. I offer insight into what is required at a high school level and understand that the key to performing well in science is having a solid understanding of the basic concepts and I am prepared to cater to the learners individual needs.
