i have experience of teaching primary school children from grade zero to grade 7. i have also tutored grade 8-12 students before. i love teaching and inspiring the children i have a privilege of meeting.

I am a 26 year old man with ambition. I have a degree (B.ENG Civil Engineering) in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria and work as a full time Civil Engineer in the Dams and Hydropower department of AECOM. I graduated in 2014 and started working for AECOM directly after I finished my studies. I am a very motivated teacher and always enjoy helping students develop their Science and Math skils. I have a very good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics due to my Civil Engineering degree and I work with these principles every day. I am a very active person who loves playing all sports but especially Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and Swimming. I recieved provincial colours for Swimming and Hockey at school. I also enjoy playing Golf and scuba diving in my spare time. I am engaged to be married in December 2016 and am therefore very motivated and driven to teach so that I can pay off my study debt before I get married.

I am a well energetic tutor, I'm a graduate of statistics (B.sc Honours). I am currently studying towards my Master's Degree in Financial Economics at the University of Johannesburg. I am a passionate and talented teacher employing creative teaching strategies to engage students fully in the learning process. A Mathematical Sciences graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg. I have experience and skills with teaching secondary and university level mathematics. I enjoy learning new areas of expertise and challenging myself to do my best at it.

I have a lot of experience teaching this subject. I am able to teach to a student's understanding and am flexible enough to adjust my teaching style to the student's learning style. I love helping students to understand and learn their subjects!

My passion is helping learners to get from where they are, academically, to where they need to be - and further! My experience includes private tutoring for Gr 1 - 12 in English and Afrikaans (HL and FAL). I am the mother of three grown sons, have my own transport and enjoy interacting with families in order to get to know the learner better - which in turn makes the tutoring process easier and happier for both myself and the learner. I make use of various styles of teaching - depending on the learner's needs. Exam prep is a time of fun exercises in the form of quizzes, multiple choice questions and verbal answering.
