Numeracy tutors in Gauteng

I matriculated in 2016 from Parktown High School for Girls with distinctions in English (HL), Biology and History. I am currently taking a gap year. Although I have no formal teaching experience, I have a dynamic personality and excellent understanding of the abovementioned subjects as well as Afrikaans and Mathematics. English is my home language, however I am also fluent in Afrikaans. I am looking to tutor grades 4-11.

My name is Rita Guri, a first year accounting student at unisa and I tutor primary school maths and English.

I have two honours degrees, namely: BSc(Hons) in Statistics and BSc(Hons) in Financial Modelling. I passed my first honours with a cum laude. I work at STATS SA as a statistician. My duties are sampling, questionnaire design, data processing and data analysis. I have worked for Absa as a data analyst for 3 years. I am enthusiastic, professional, self-motivated and I can work with different types of people. I love tutoring and I am good at it. To me tutoring is one way of giving back to the community

I  was a student. So I understand the responsibility and pressures of being a student. I have Honours in Psychological counselling. Am good in statistic and English. I enjoy teaching and working with different people.

I am an enthusiastic person when it comes to teaching, sharing my knowledge with the people around me. I love interacting with learners in a manner such that they find passion and understanding of what they are learning.
