I excelled on this subject at high school and I love the subject so much that whomsoever I assist with this subject cannot get below 50% ( which is a pass) as their mark. For those who are hopeless in pure mathematics, mathematical literacy is your second chance at math.

I have a degree in civil engineering, and therefore have an expansive experience with this subject. Subjects that i covered were engineering maths (which is a heavy focus on calculus), applied mathematics (which is a mixture of static and dynamic physics) and basic chemistry on a university level, in addition to my engineering subjects. I have also taught Cambridge mathematics at a high school for a year.

I achieved high results for this subject whilst in school and have found it helpful to tackle key aspects of the subject when tutoring it. I find many of the students I have worked with struggle mostly with the financial aspect, this being simple and compound interest, salary scales etc. I was able to break it up and make the seemingly daunting task much more approachable and manageable.

I have taught Mathematics Literacy during my Language Online teaching experience: - Maths vocabulary - Basic calculations - Using shapes and figures. I use basic mathematics in my daily life including advanced skills such as using Microsoft Excel to create automatically calculated sheets.

I always enjoyed mathematics. My love and knack for maths can be applied to mathematics literacy as well I am patient and have experience working with children with different learning strengths and methods of conceptualizing so I can be easily adapted to one's needs.

I am the best Tutor because to me mathematical litteracy is the mathetics of case studies which is one of the most important skills one has to obtain ,I have experience solving real world problem case studies and doing calculations without a calculator for example : If Maya buys a company for 5 dollars and makes a revenue of 15 dollars what will Maya make in profit if he buys 3 companies given that each company is 15 percent more from every new company Maya has started Answer : We want to calculate the profit for the first company Which will be Profit=Revenue -Cost=15-5=10 For the second company He then has to spend again Profit=Revenue -Cost + ( Revenue -Cost)×0.15= 15-5 +15-5(0.15)=11.5 For the third company Profit=Revenue -Cost + ( Revenue -Cost)×0.30= 15-5 +15-5(0.30)=13 Total profit = 10+11.5+13=34.5

I was awarded top student in Grade 10 and Grade 11 thus making me the ultimate tutor to team up with for you as the student. I really enjoyed Mathematics Literacy because it teaches you the more fundamentals for life than the actual Mathematics.

In my final year of high school (2018), I had achieved 89% for Mathematics Literacy. I am able to help students who have trouble learning the different contents of Mathematics Literacy by using innovative ways I have created to understand the formulas and the logic behind the answers. I am patient with my students and will go over the work as much as they would like me to.

I was an A plus student in Maths literacy in high school. I obtained 91% in my finals and I also took part in the FET Top 10 Summative assessment in Maths Literacy, I came 2nd place and obtained a gold medal.
