Economics can seem very difficult to understand for most people who study it but I had no problem in making sense of the terms. I found it easy because I could immediately apply the principles and terms to real life.

I have both teaching and industrial knowledge in it. I majored in Business Studies and I hold a Masters Degree in Business Studies. Economics was one of my modules and I am very comfortable teaching it.

Economics is a field of study that I have a very deep interest in. I took economics as a subject in high school and also had economics as university modules that forms part of my degree. The knowledge that I have acquired over the years of studying micro- and macroeconomics gave me a broad understanding on the subject. As mentioned in my bio, I am completing a BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics degree at the University of Pretoria. Studies in actuarial science and mathematical statistics degrees are built on a basis of mathematics, statistics, analysis, and financial management.

I am coloured, and Afrikaans fluent. I am also fluent in English. I love to read books, and also like having fun with friends. I am Westley Claassen, and I am currently 32 years of age. I am coming from a small town called Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape. I am blessed to still have my mother, and two brothers and a older sister. I started with my university studies at 2007.I completed my B.comm accounting degree at NWU( Potchefstroom) in 2010 and also completed my management accounting honours degree in 2011. I completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences course at UNISA in 2014, and started with my articles at SizweNtsalubaGobodo in 2015. I am a qualified CA since 2018.

I studied economics for my undergraduate and masters degrees. My treasury experience provides a good basis for practical application of economic principles. I can integrate world developments with economic theory which will facilitate students' interest and learning.

I hold a M.Com (Econ) degree from Stellenbosch University. Have worked as an Economist for over 6 years in Government and the NGO sector

I am a High school teacher in Pretoria, teaching Accounting and Economics, in the Cambridge syllabus. I am able to teach the Government syllabus as well.
