Sibongiseni Thembeka Faith Sakhele, néé Mtsweni, (Ms Sakhele) was born in Kwa-Thema in Springs. Ms Sakhele matriculated from Springs Girls High School where she was a prefect. She completed her undergraduate degree from Unisa, through a bursary from the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA).
