I am currently in my second year of studying BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics at the University of Pretoria. Over the past few years, I have developed a broad understanding of mathematics, financial mathematics, statistics, and analysis, which I would love to share and use to help potential clients. I am willing to tutor in any relevant university modules that I have experience in. I am also open for tutoring high school subjects, especially Afrikaans, English, mathematics, accounting, economics, business studies, and computer science. I take pride in the progress that I make with students and will therefore always be direct about my skills, qualifications, and experience of a particular subject. I am comfortable in tutoring in both English and Afrikaans, whichever language is preferred. From my past experiences of tutoring students, I have learned that the mind of each individual is so complex and beautifully different. Therefore, I have adapted to a much more fluid form of tutoring that enhances the student’s own studying methods, rather than to replace it with completely new unfamiliar ones. I am looking forward to the progress that we can achieve together and the academic success that awaits you.

I have been tutoring high school students from 2017 to 2018 during the years I have been at Hoërskool Zwartkop. This was a bit challenging since it took place in the two most important years of my high school career but I have managed to pull it off and it helped with some revision with the basics of the more advanced level of high school subjects that I had at the time. I definitely learned a lot from these girls and had such a fun time helping them.

I am studying BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics at the University of Pretoria to one day become a full-time successful actuary who specializes in investments and financial management. The degree is intensive in mathematics, financial mathematics, statistics and financial management.
