Natural Sciences tutors in Cape Town

I have a great understanding of this subject which makes it easy for me to teach it to someone else. My methods will help the child remember what I am teaching them and that can improve their marks at school.

Natural Science is the subject that has the basics of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It and Mathematics were my favorite subjects from the time I started grade 7 till grade 9. My average mark of Natural Science in Grade 9 was 91%. We had a teacher who taught with a passion and knew his syllabus and all his skills he adequately shared with us. From grade 10 till today this is one of the subjects I love to share it's contents with passion.

I am an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person who enjoys pushing people to succeed. I am a student myself so I know what it's like to be under a lot of pressure and I am hoping to use this to my advantage my being able to relate to my clients on a greater level.

I am a mature lady who relates well to people of all ages, especially children with whom I love working and in whom I build a passion and love for learning. I am patient and deal with the children in a calm manner teaching them the importance of determination and that nothing is impossible. Together we can conquer each and every subject in a way which they understand and through this they learn a good work ethic and learn self-discipline, in which I am a great believer . I am quick to encourage and praise my students when it is necessary and this helps build their confidence and motivate them to cooperate with me. I am bilingual, reliable and organised and give each child I tutor my full attention helping them to achieve their goals and to ultimately cope on their own and become successful scholars and students.

I am currently a final year student studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of the Western Cape. I understand and get along well with highschool aged students and I also have a passion for education.

I prefer to tutor grades 4-8. I can tutor in most subjects up to grade 9, apart from Afrikaans, which I will only teach up to Grade 7. I've attended several study courses, including the Juno course. These courses have really helped me and I'd love to show my students how easy it can be to learn and memorize. With our academic oriented society, the self-esteem of students often takes a few hits. It's important to me as a teacher that my students understand that their mistakes are part of a learning process. I'm admittedly young, but I achieve excellent results as a straight A student, which I have been my whole school career, and I have experience dealing with different learning styles.

I'm a qualified scientist. I work at coca cola as a quality controller though. I have BSc (Honours). I specialized in natural sciences. Subjects that I can tutor would Biology, Life sciences, Physics, Mathematics, History and Geography. Languages is not to bad too but only English and Afrikaans. I tutor all grades 4-12. I have an extremely strong passion for teaching and have experience in teaching and tutoring at numerous schools. I have taught to kids in places like Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India, where I taught in schools to many children of all ages and levels. I believe that there is a special connection between a student and a teacher, in being able to offer knowledge, love, understanding, and a space to grow. I am an energetic, positive, and creative person, with a zest for life, and a deep patience.
