I have a TEFL qualification and experience teaching English to children in Vietnam. I have lived in a number of countries where English was not the main language, so I have lots of experience with the common mistake that people make when learning English, mistakes I want to help you avoid. I am very patient and encouraging with my students, so you will always feel supported in my lessons.

History can seem very dull to some, but if taught by the right person it can become extremely interesting and insightful. I always work hard to make my lessons fun and engaging, so you will remember what you've learned for a long time after the lesson has finished. The most important lesson I learned from my own history studies was how to analyse historical information in the context of who wrote it and for what reason, which in today's society with 'fake news', is a skill that should not be underestimated. I scored an A* in my GCSE history exam - the highest mark possible.

Geography is such a fascinating subject, underpinning so many answers to why certain civilizations prospered (or didn't), or how individual species evolved, I love to share my passion for the subject with my students. My time working at Virunga National Park in D.R.Congo has given me real life experience of active and dormant volcanoes. I have also spent time studying as a game ranger which incorporates many aspects of the geography syllabus into real life examples. All experiences that will help me to bring your studies to life.

Supply and Demand is a fundamental model that affects so much of our everyday lives, that I genuinely believe everyone should be taught about it in school whether they study economics or not. I have studied Economics up to A level and find the knowledge I learnt useful still even today many years later. I want to help you unlock the power of such knowledge too.

I have studied Business Studies up to university level - I have a BSc in Business Administration from Cardiff University in Wales, one of the top business school in the UK. After graduating I worked managing companies in both the NGO and private sectors and also in a number of different countries, so I have a lot of real life experience to apply to the theory I will teach you.
