I'm a student at UCT studying Bcom Economics and Statistics. I'm passionate about helping others navigate concepts they might struggle with. I'm expecially fond of explaining the conceptual underpinnings of topics and I think that can be of great value to students. I also believe that continously practice can build proficiency.

Here Im responsible for tutoring students in grade 8 with their day to day homeworks from school. I was also helping them complete tasks online using the online learning portal called Olico and fundza.

I was assisting students who were new to the university with helping them become acquainted to the environment. Also helping them with geography around campus. Also assisting with some administrative questions they had.

I'm currently completing my Bcom Economics and applied Statistics degree at the University of Cape Town.
Matric - Bulumko SSS
I completed matric at Bulumko SSS and I achieved above 80 percent marks in isixhosa, geography, life sciences and life orientation. With above 75 percent for mathematics, English, and Physical Sciences.

Mathematics
With this subject, the best approach is to go into practicing straight up and try to build the why factor, or the intuition and the logic of why we use certain operations. But the most important element is continuous practice, and building the intuition as we go. Two I can assist students by offering breakdown of some of the concepts as we go along.

Geography
With this subject, I believe can add value to the experience of the learner as I can simultaneously tie the concepts and definitions whilst also applying the concepts which is very important. I believe the best to advance in this subject is to first get a good grasp of how the concepts come about and how they are relevant in our sorroundings. Then apply them them in tests set up rigorously.

I can help students here with the conceptual understanding of the concepts and definitions and how they come in to tie together to form the holistic picture. Then, I'll further help the students with answering questions. But here I believe the most important step is to understand the definitions, then then that will help with the answering part and ingraining the knowledge.

Physical Science
I have completed physical science at a high school level. With physical sciences, you need two fold strategy, one is bein assisted in understanding the concepts/definitions. Then the second phase is applying and continuisly practicing calculations. I can assist in rigorously practicing the concepts and applying them as much as possible to ensure that the learners can apply the concepts in a variety of contexts.
