English as a foreign Language tutors in Cape Town

I am a volunteer tutor and have tutored many high students and various subjects as per their request. I aim to teach students to understand the knowledge they are being fed so that they can relate to it and use it.

I have a 150 hour TEFL qualification. I taught at a Language School in Claremont, Cape Town. I also privately tutored Iraqi student pilots at their home in Cape Town. I am quite passionate about helping people communicate.

I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language. I also have a TEFL certificate which states that I have completed a 120hour course that enables me to effectively teach English as a foreign language

After being encouraged to do so, I undertook a TEFL course and discovered the love for teaching English. Initially, I had not thought that the course could be entertaining but after engaging with it, my whole perspective changed. Also, my love for reading equipped me fairly well with my grasp of the English language.

As an online, personal tutor I will adapt all my lessons to each student's needs. I will work individually with each client to see at what level their English is, and work out a program that will best help them reach their specific goals.

I have a TEFL certificate and have done the IELTS test. I am patient and kind, speak english very well, and have a neutral accent. I was meant to teach English in China this year, but due to Covid-19 it was cancelled.

I have been a TEFL teacher for over 2 years now and have been teaching kids and adults from the age of 4 and up. Have been teaching students from beginner to advanced with there pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar.

While part-time studying i worked' at a Pre-Primaray school as a teachers assistant for 3 years then travelled to America where i worked as a kids camp counselor and life-guard.I have also part-time au-paired.
