It is clear that I enjoyed and excelled in biology in high school as I went on to study medicine! Since I am not in my fifth year of medicine, I have a lot to offer in terms of extra knowledge and clear explanations. I also have a lot of experience rote-learning as there is a lot of it in medicine and considering that there is a lot of rote-learning in biology as well, I think I will be a good fit. I achieved 90% in biology at the end of Matric.

I love biology and how it nurtures curiosity and instills a drive for making new interesting discoveries about the world around us. I have six years experience in teaching and tutoring Biology from grades 10 to 12.

I am passionate about Nature and understanding the world around us as well as the human body. I want to share that passion with learners and cultivate a culture of conservation and understanding of how precious and intricate the human body is. I will share my passion by staying up to date with current events and using different teaching tools.

Ek het 'n onderwys graad aan die Universiteit van Stellenbosch (cum laude), met spesialiseringsvak Natuurwetenskappe - my final punt is 81% op rekord. Ek was die onder die top 3 leerders vir Biologie, graad 10 en 11. Ek het 'n groot belangstelling vir biologiese prosesse en die werking van die natuur.

I scored 86% for my final biology exam in matric (92% in the MOCK exam), and I feel very confident in my ability to learn and understand concepts in the biological field. Biology was the second subject I wanted to study most, and I'm taking a cell biology course in university. I think I could help teach other students how to learn, memorise, and understand concepts in biology that they may be struggling with.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Genetics and Biochemistry and Human Anatomy at UCT and I am extremely passionate about the life sciences. I achieved 94% in the final NSC examinations in 2018 and thus have sound knowledge of all the concepts that need to be covered.

I am a professional teacher and have been teaching for 5 years. I find purpose in sharing and growing in knowledge. I believe you can never be to old or young to learn, and it should be a lifelong process. I aim to find ways to make content interesting, relevant, motivating and understandable to all learners.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Science, majoring in Biodiversity and Ecology. I am currently completing my PGCE to become a Biology teacher. Biology is definitely my passion in life. I have vast knowledge of plants, animals and the natural world that they form. I did very well in my biology subjects throughout high school and university. I enjoy sharing all the fascinating parts of our world with my students.

I achieved a level 7 in matric and studied this in-depth during my BSc degree. I am happy to help with specific topics/modules, help throughout the year and/or help with prepping for tests and exams. I am committed to helping my students build a solid foundation for each subject with the fundamental concepts so that new sections/topics are easier to learn and understand.

I have spent many years in the laboratory conducting experiments and biological assays as part of my training therefore I am adept in explaining biology from a practical standpoint. I have done research both in plant science and animal models.
