Hi there! My name is Sarah. I am a 5th year medical student from South Africa and also an experienced part-time tutor. I achieved well in my matric exams, matriculating with an average of 90%. I am looking to tutor online during the national corona virus lock-down and in person when the lock-down is over. I have the most experience in teaching younger children with over 100 hours experience. I have, however, also tutored older students in the past. I hope that you consider learning with me!

Part Time Tutor
I have been tutoring a family of 6 children, 3 times a week for the past year. I help them to complete their homework and with any work in any subject that they may be struggling with. A few of the children have learning difficulties. It has been challenging but also incredibly rewarding work.

Completed schooling at Westerford High School with a matric average of 90%. Currently studying medicine at the University of Cape Town.

I loved accounting during high school and ended up achieving 98% in my final matric exams. I found that it came naturally to me and feel confident in explaining it. Although, I didn't go on to study accounting, it was one of my options for further study. I ended up settling on medicine.

Biology
It is clear that I enjoyed and excelled in biology in high school as I went on to study medicine! Since I am not in my fifth year of medicine, I have a lot to offer in terms of extra knowledge and clear explanations. I also have a lot of experience rote-learning as there is a lot of it in medicine and considering that there is a lot of rote-learning in biology as well, I think I will be a good fit. I achieved 90% in biology at the end of Matric.

I really enjoyed English during high school and remain an avid reader. I finished Matric with 90% in English and it was one of my proudest marks. I hope that I may be able help others enjoy the subject and achieve in it just as I did.
