History has been a subject I have loved since junior school all the way up to my postgrad (and further!). The past and the events that occur amaze and intrigue me. To be able to analyse and understand how the world worked and operated many years ago is fascinating to me and helps us analyse how the world might proceed in the future. To be able to interact with a variety of different individuals who either changed the world or damaged it, and learn everything behind what made them tick and the reasoning behind certain events will help you to analyse the world today and see how things may unfold in the future. I hope that my passion and love for this subject and all of the worldy events it holds, will inspire you to love it as much as I do. Furthermore, with my background as an English educator I will be able to assist you with the more 'harder aspects' of History such as writing essays and analysing sources. I hope to explore our past as a species with you and learn new and exciting facts!

I received a distinction for history at IEB matric level (with a grade of 87%), and have a knack for making the lessons more of a story than a textbook-based event. I have skills in writing essays and know what is expected of these essay questions, and can therefore help with structure and flow in this area.

History has always been my passion. It was a subject I excelled at in high school where i received over 90% in matric. History taught me to look at the world differently and helped to shape the person I am today. It taught me how to structure my thoughts and ideas and arguments as well as logically formalise them. It taught me how to write a coherent essay and how best to share ideas in both an opinionated and non-opinionated way. I would love to show someone how history could help them see the world in a new light as well as prepare them for the writing that comes with any university degree.

I achieved 93% for history at the end of matric, and I will be good at teaching the huge amount of theory in a way that it makes sense. I love history, and I believe it is important to understand history in order to understand where we are now.

I am studying a BA in Politics and Theology. These modules require a strong knowledge of history and the ability to research the historical background of various topics and events. I love history and am always reading up on past historical events. I also achieved a distinction in in History on my NSC Certificate.

History was my highest mark in matric. I am still very passionate about it and would love to share that with someone else who is currently learning the subject. I love to find new ways to teach certain topics and think that history is a fun subject that should be enjoyed.

I am best suited to tutor this subject because I am currently an intern teaching at primary school level and completing my degree in education. This will be a fun way for both myself and the learners to become more confident and gain knowledge about the world.

I have an extensive knowledge in history and keep learning new things everyday that can easily be relayed to any student. I have studied history for 8 years and taught for 4 years. I am currently still pursuing History because there is always something new to learn. I'm an avid reader and researcher. Thus, whatever I don't know I can quickly find out. I also have great people skills and make it my goal to help students understand their subject.

I am studying a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching through UNISA and History is one of the subjects I am specialising in. It was my absolute favourite subject at school and I achieved excellent results in this subject from primary school until university. I am extremely passionate about History in addition to this I have an extensive knowledge and deep understanding of the subject's content. I want to make learning History a fun and insightful experience.

History is a subject that in my experience many school students struggle to engage with and enjoy and is a subject I believe holds such significance in today's world. In the past three years I have done my best to help students to enjoy it as much as they can and also to understand the method of answering history questions as it often is what people really struggle with.
