Kai S - Tutor in Rondebosch
I am a fourth year Law and Spanish major at UCT, I have just graduated with my undergrad in Spanish and law and am continuing into my postgrad in law this year. I grew up on a game farm in Limpopo and have always lived far from home, moving between boarding school, an overseas school exchange to Bogota, Colombia and now university across the country. I have tutored for over three years now both privately and for two different companies and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tutoring is something that is so rewarding to me and being able to help people of many different ages in so many varying ways with their work has helped me to grow and learn as well. Tutoring is definitely something I am likely to pursue for the foreseeable future.

History is a subject that in my experience many school students struggle to engage with and enjoy and is a subject I believe holds such significance in today's world. In the past three years I have done my best to help students to enjoy it as much as they can and also to understand the method of answering history questions as it often is what people really struggle with.

Afrikaans
Afrikaans is also a subject I have tutored in for the past three years and it has been by far the most rewarding subject to tutor in. I have learnt so much about how every student thinks and engages differently with the material and it is always exciting to help people to understand how to better approach a foreign language from an analytical perspective so that they can break it down into something more approachable.
