I am a 21 year old post-graduate studen from Stellenbosch University. In 2017, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in the Humanities, with a double-major in Psychology and English Literature, and a minor in Sociology. I am currently pursuing a PGCE at Stellenbosch University, as I have a passion for children and teaching. I am a hard-working, dedicated and very organised, and I will motivate learners to work hard and will instill a learning culture in them.

I have a B.Ed degree and am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher. I taught in a mainstream school in Grade 3 before moving to a home school post. I love working with younger children and am passionate about making learning enjoyable and interactive.

Primary school being the foundation phase of ones school career is very important as it will determine the level of their high-school career. Helping students achieve all the basics in primary school is of great significance to me because these are the individuals of the future and need to have a good knowledge of the world and what it has to offer.

As stated in my biography, I am a student teacher (last year of my studies) studying towards the intermediate phase (grade 4-7) thus, I am studying all the subjects that the learners are currently learning at school

In primary school I am qualified to teach EMS. The commercial stream is close to my heart. I can offer the basic excellent foundation regarding the subject and possibly light up the love for it. Let me help you aspire to be in the business work in the future from any angle.

I work well with children and have past experience in tutoring primary school learners. I realize it is important to make learning fun in order to maintain the learner's attention. I work best with lower grades such as grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 and grade 4, although I can tutor grade 5-7 as well, as needed.

I love working with small kids. I frequently assist the primary school at my mom's work when the teachers are sick or writing exams. I'm strict when it comes to small children because I believe it is the perfect age to start enforcing boundaries.

I enjoy children in the primary school phase as well as foundation phase. They are willing and eager to learn and gain as much knowledge as possible. They are easy to talk to and a vast amount of children have the best sense of humour. I can assist with any subject in the primary and foundation phase.

I have completed 3 out 4 teaching practicals. During this time, I have designed and taught various lessons from Grade R to Grade 2. I have worked in an aftercare for 2+ years as a homework tutor for Grades 1 to 7, assisting with various subject matter from reading and writing skills to history and natural science.

I am interested in being of assistance to any primary schools subjects to assist children with their homework and tasks and even if they are struggling with any subject as I want to be that assistance that I did not previously have that would have immensely helped in improving my grades but I had to do it alone and it was not easy. So, I want to ease the child of such problem and also help parents who are busy with other responsibilities and make their job as a parent easier and less stressful and be of great assistance that the child does well in their academics.
