  • Reading

I have sat with many many Grade 1 learners and teaching them to read. Starts from phonics skills, then forming words and then to reading on their own. It is such a rewarding feeling watching them go from needing assistance every step of the way to reading all on their own.

  • English skills

Having a good grasp of the english language is something that is needed in every aspect of life. It is a very important skill to have. I have taught children how to read, write and spell. I have encouraged reading to help expand their vocabulary and knowledge of things in the world. As English is a lingua franca, it is useful all around the world.
