I am deeply engaged in local and world history. I am continuously interested in the way past history influences our present moments. I advocate that an understanding of the past helps us to shape our present and future moments. I love to teach exercises to integrate and enable historical learning such as timelines and comparative exercises.

History is one of my passions since I am currently studying for a BA in development studies. The valuable lessons History teaches us are not only important on an academic level, but the knowledge it gives us to know more about our forefathers, and our country as well as the developing world is of massive importance.

I have had a fascination with major historic events since I was a pre-teen and this took history in high school. It was the one subject I had complete confidence in getting an A because it was so interesting to go back in time and realize how far we’ve come. I started my tutoring in history when I was in grade 10 and thus have 6 years experience.
