I had the highest performance in my matric final result. I have a strong passion and love for history so much so that I was apart of the history club in high school and received the highest award achievement for it.

I have experience with teaching and tutoring young children.I also have a TEFL teaching certificate. I also grew up in a bilingual home and am fluent in Afrikaans and English.I also obtained distinctions in varsity and high school for history and I am very passionate about history. History can seem very dull to some, but if taught by the right person it can become extremely interesting and insightful. I always work hard to make my lessons fun and engaging, so you will remember what you've learned for a long time after the lesson has finished. The most important lesson I learned from my own history studies was how to analyse historical information in the context of who wrote it and for what reason, which in today's society with 'fake news', is a skill that should not be underestimated. I scored an A* in my GCSE history exam - the highest mark possible.

This was my favourite subject in high school and something which I quickly learnt tricks for to help me remember dates, names and all the nitty-gritty information in between. Knowing history is something of importance if we want to understand the present (and the possible future). Having obtained a distinction for it in high school, I am eager to pass my skills on and ensure that you excel as well!
