Calculus is one of my favorite topic in Maths. I have been specializing in this topic from my studies at university. Also calculus is mathematical study of continuous change, in the same way that geometry is the study of shape and algebra is the study of generalizations of arithmetic operations.

I am an Industrial and Systems Engineer by profession. I completed with above-average grades over 96credits worth of mathematics credits. I also did Ordinary level math (A grade) and Advanced level high school math (B). I have also applied various mathematical models and concepts in my profession as an engineer.

I have previous experience teaching similar subjects and I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with learners to help them grow or make a difference in their lives. I will try and make each lesson interesing and fun.

I have more than 10 years teaching experience and hold a PhD in Statistics. The 10 years experience is at both high school and university level. I am comfortable with any syllabus from any university or college.

I studied calculus for 3 years at the University of Cape Town. I then took advanced numerical methods in my final year. I am a passionate high energy individual who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure my students can go from a C symbol to an A symbol.

I am maths graduate and have gained the tools for mathematical analysis and best course/s of action in the application of mathematics fundamentals while working in a research facility. I am able to confer strategies for challenging or abstract ideas and concepts.

At university I had an excellent set of lecturers who broke down mathematical principles in a way that made the process make sense. I feel I can help high school students improve their marks by applying the same method of teaching.

I achieved a distinction for Maths in matric, over 70% for Maths Paper 3, and have studied complex calculus and statistics throughout my varsity career.
