In matric I achieved 75% for biology. I have a BSc in Health Sciences with a major in Physiology. My postgraduate qualification is also rooted in the biological sciences field therefore I believe my extra knowledge of this subject will aid me in tutoring the subject to those who are currently struggling.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Science, majoring in Biodiversity and Ecology. I am currently completing my PGCE to become a Biology teacher. Biology is definitely my passion in life. I have vast knowledge of plants, animals and the natural world that they form. I did very well in my biology subjects throughout high school and university. I enjoy sharing all the fascinating parts of our world with my students.

I achieved a level 7 in matric and studied this in-depth during my BSc degree. I am happy to help with specific topics/modules, help throughout the year and/or help with prepping for tests and exams. I am committed to helping my students build a solid foundation for each subject with the fundamental concepts so that new sections/topics are easier to learn and understand.

My favourite fields of study all fall within the bigger discipline, Biology. Everything I love involves Biology and I aim to learn as much as humanly possible about this subject. I understand the building blocks as well as the complicated concepts of biology, and therefore will be able to help students with whatever they are struggling with.

I have spent many years in the laboratory conducting experiments and biological assays as part of my training therefore I am adept in explaining biology from a practical standpoint. I have done research both in plant science and animal models.

I believe that, fundamentally, biology is the study of the wonders of life - how we, as humans, and every other living organism came to be. When you put it like that, doesn't biology sound so much more interesting? I am fascinated by this subject, which is why I have dedicated by life to studying it (I study medicine which is, at its essence, as study of human biology, however I have also studied several courses at university level about microbiology, biodiversity and evolution). It is my passion for biology that lead me to achieve a final result of 90% for Life Sciences at the end of matric. Biology was my favourite subject in school and university. We get to learn about the foundations of life on this planet, which I find incredibly exciting. I received a distinction in Biology (Life Sciences) in Matric. I studied a Bachelor of Science at Wits where I did many Biology-related subjects including Human Anatomy (yes I dissected a human cadaver :P ), Physiology and the subject "Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences". As an Occupational Therapist, who has worked in a physical hospital, I have extensive knowledge of the human body.
