Biology tutors in North West

I am a 28 year old female with a passion for children. I adore teaching childrennew material and helping children understand material already taught but not understood. I love helping children succeed to the best of their abilities.

I am a very competitive person, when i set my mind to something-one way or another it will be done and i believe that makes me very successful in the academic and sporting fields. I also have a keen interest for sports such as tennis, netball and swimming and attained provincial colours in all three areas and would love to help in any area that is necessary. I am also very sociable and love being around people and have a desire, especially in my near future to help other people. I particularly love the subjects geography and biology, i am however studying a major in english and can help in many areas and also am very handy with maths, but primary school level.

I am Bilingual in (English and Afrikaans (home language)) and will have no problem in teaching in either language. I further have Creative problem solving and stress management skills and Encourage fun and practical learning where possible. Biology is about live and what better way to learn about it through practical understanding. A Positive learning process where questions becomes knowledge and knowledge may produce further insight and intuitive thinking is what students require to go out in this world and be the best that they can be. I am result oriented, punctual and reliable. I will help in any way I can and answer questions and explain study material in a fun, short and comprehensible manner. I have excellent communication and team oriented skills and will listen to all the students requirements.

I have always had a great interest and passion for biology. I obtained my BSc degree in Biological Sciences (Majors: Physiology and Microbiology) and Masters degree in Environmental Science at the North-West University. My current Doctoral studies are focussed on effects emerging contaminants in water environments have on biological life. A grate understanding of Biology is thus a big part of my daily work. In my 8 years experience I have learnt how to communicate complex concepts in simple ways so my audiance members can understand new findings in presentations, scientific papers and classes.
