I am a 25 year old vibrant unmarried lady. I love working with kids. I tutored kids in my neighbourhood, helped with their homework and gathered information for them for assignments. It is one of biggest dreams to become a qualified teacher one day. I would love to make a difference in how children construct their future and there is no better way to do it than at school where everything starts. I want make sure no one makes a choice that will lead them to no where, and therefor they need our help as teachers to guide them.

I firmly believe that I am an extremely hard working teacher and a very loyal human being. I put in a lot of effort with regards to learners understanding the content, as that is the motivation for me. I am well organized and have taught at a few schools of different social circumstances. My teaching style, I could therefore adapt to meet the different needs of their learning styles. I respect all religions, cultures and I therefore feel I won’t have a problem tutoring any learner. I have also completed a Mathematical course from AMESA that focuses on the most difficult mathematical problems from grade 4-9. I have also completed my Bachelors in Education degree at Stellenbosch University.

Ever since I can remember I naturally ended up teaching individuals things that I understood well. Friends often asking me in high school to help them with subjects they were struggling with (Maths & Science). It was the same at University - I helped friends to understand Psychometric calculations in Industrial psychology as well as computers (confidence in using computers for the first time, as well as formulas in Microsoft Excel. When I first arrived in the Uk I took a datacapturing job however soon started helping everyone in computers as many of them were struggling with using the Microsoft office packages. It was of no surprise that I went on to do part time studies in the Microsoft office packages and completed the Master MOUSE qualification (Microsoft Office User specialist to advanced level). From there I progressed on to becoming a High school teacher in computers (in job training and qualified at Brunel University, London, Uk) I taught for 7 years in a high school in London. I relocated to South Africa and have been a stay-at home mom until the beginning of this year as my daughter is now attending pre-school. I had four years in which I imparted many skills to my daugher including creating a good foundation in Afrikaans and English. My daughter is four years old and she is fully bilingual. As my daughter is now attending school I really would like to get back into teaching and I am particularly interested in tutoring as I really enjoy one-on-one teaching.

I enjoy reading a variety of books and random articles online. I also love baking and always find myself trying a new a challenging recipe. I recently started sewing and I am enjoying that a lot. I have done quite a range of crafts including origami. I also love playing computer games and coding. Sometimes I go out of my room to be social and that can be quite enjoyable too. Over weekends and holidays I like to go hike and I sometimes dip my finger into photography too. I am currently a second year Mechatronic Engineering student at Stellenbosch University. I believe that you should do something every day to help someone around you.
