I am an easy-going and patient somebody. I have a passion for imparting knowledge to others and i find great satisfaction knowing that i have helped a learner achieve his/her academic goals. My favorite subjects in school included Mathematics, English, Physical Science, Information Technology and Afrikaans. I achieved 5 distinctions in matric and i believe every learner is capable of attaining academic success provided that he/she puts in the work and is guided by someone who has his/her best interest in mind. What i have learnt from my past experience is that every learner moves at their own pace and different learning styles are adopted depending on the individual. With this in mind, i would love an opportunity to share this passion of mine with your kid and give them a learning experience that is personalised in order to maximize their academic potential.

I'm currently a third year student at UCT studying towards my degree in Marketing. I'm a friendly, easy going person and I'm always striving to do my best and go the extra mile to get things done.

I am a married Mom of 3 daughters. One of my daughters was diagnosed with ADHD in Grade 0 and attended a remedial school until Grade 3. She is now working, having completed her Honours degree. As such I have extensive experience in the patience and effort required to help ADHD children to master themselves and their studies. With my youngest daughter now being at university I have some evening time on my hands from 18h00. I am keen to help any Grade 0-9 pupils where they need help - reading, pronunciation, English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, even Excel or knitting! My Matric subjects were English, Afrikaans, Maths, History, Science and Biology. My day job is an IT Consultant so I am a problem-solver. I have very good communication, organisational, time management and Microsoft Office skills. I am energetic, ethical and hard working.

I am a Unisa student currently completing my degree in B.ED in foundation phase. My major is English and psychology. I enjoy teaching English literature and Afrikaans to young learners. I volunteer my free time to assist special needs learners during their classroom experience. I intend to further my studies in special educational needs.

I am a qualified Language Practitioner, and I have my own Freelance company. I also have also a Post Graduate Diploma (I studied in the U.K.) in Tourism and Hospitality Management. I have been working as a Language Practitioner since 2000 till currently. I am very good with children and I am passionate about education. I love working with children, i love music and playing piano. I am engaged and I help my stepdaughter as much as i can. I realise kids learn at different speeds, and being creative and using braincharts helps with that. I believe that all children can be taught. It is just a matter of relating to the material.
